Job summary

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Therapy Helper to join the Dietetics team at Hull Royal Infirmary. This Band 2, part-time role (15 hours per week) provides practical, administrative and logistical support to home enteral feeding services and other Dietetics activities as needed.

Under supervision, you will assist with ordering, stock control, documentation and patient communications, ensuring procedures are followed and records are accurate. Full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must have good administrative and IT skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly and courteously.
• Ability to follow agreed procedures accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, practical and logistical support to home enteral feeding services under supervision.
• Process patient correspondence and service documentation using approved systems.
• Assist with ordering, receipt checking and distribution of enteral feeding products.
• Maintain accurate stock and equipment records.
• Prepare paperwork and equipment for clinics, patients and deliveries.
• Support patient administration following training and use Lorenzo where required.
• Work flexibly across Dietetics service areas according to workload.
