We are now recruiting for a die casting operator/technician to join the team.Are you interested in zinc die casting, operating, setting, maintaining, performing quality checks with a view to improving our processes and ensuring optimum settings are in place? Are you highly motivated, ambitious, and looking for a new challenge? If so, this could be the role for you!
What is the role
Reporting to a die casting team leader at our Hellaby Works site in Rotherham, you will be responsible for operating our manufacturing processes, adhering to our health and safety standards, performing quality checks, maintaining housekeeping standards through our 5S system and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. You will also be involved in a range of improvement activities, supporting the production teams and liaising with other departments.
Additional tasks and responsibilities will include:
Working hours
The position will entail working a regular three-shift pattern, mornings, afternoons and nights:
Monday-Thursday 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm – 6am, Friday 6am-1pm, 1pm-8pm and 8pm – 3am. Weekend work may also be required to meet the demands of the business.
