A Vacancy at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The Fitter/Plumber post will be based at Wrightington Hospital, working 5 days per week Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours each day, plus on call 1 in 4 and overtime requirements.
The post holder will be a person with thorough training and experience in mechanical services, plant, and equipment, who is able to work on their own initiative and without supervision.
The post holder will demonstrate leadership skills and will be multi-skilled across a range of technical engineering and building skill areas within the maintenance function.
You will need to be committed to flexibility and the continuing development of technical knowledge and new skills.

The post holder will carry out statutory testing and Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical services and equipment and complete relevant statutory records.
