Job summary

Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Secondary Operator for the Allenton facility, handling secondary processing of die-cast parts on the first shift (7am-3pm, or 6am-2pm). The role focuses on operating secondary equipment, performing inspections, and maintaining production records to meet quality and schedule goals.

Base pay is determined by skill and experience; relocation or sponsorship is not offered. Some overtime or shifts may follow production needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and interpret simple business documents.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 50 lb, and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNCs and secondary machinery per work instructions.
• Perform quality inspections using gauges and tools.
• Record piece counts in ERP system.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety policies and QMS requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
