Boyd Allenton is seeking a Senior Tool and Die Technician to join our Tooling team. The role focuses on preparing and maintaining die-cast tooling for manufacturing while collaborating with colleagues to ensure quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in MS Office and a proactive safety mindset in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong math skills and calculator use.
• Professional level communication at all times.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business paperwork.
• Proficient with MS Office software and PC use.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on shot rods, high-pressure die-cast tooling, and trim dies.
• Complete shop paperwork accurately and as directed.
• Support production needs by completing tooling or machining work per procedures.
• Fix broken tools, mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Make cores tips, fixtures, and slot rods.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Must support and follow the QMS requirements.
• Observe all safety and OSHA guidelines and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
