NHS Jobs Totton Dialysis Unit is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker (Band 2-3 Developmental) to join our nurse-led team in Totton, Southampton. The role starts with a two-week induction programme leading to the Care Certificate and is based at the Totton Dialysis Unit as part of the Wessex Kidney Centre.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective and compassionate haemodialysis care, assisting with patient needs, monitoring conditions and maintaining accurate records

Qualifikationen

• Provides patient care under supervision.
• Maintains patient privacy and dignity during care.
• Monitors patient conditions and reports to senior staff.

Aufgaben

• Provide care for patients, including handling bodily fluids and excretions.
• Help patients move around safely and maintain privacy/dignity.
• Assist with cleaning tasks and clinical duties as directed.
• Monitor patient conditions and report to senior team.
• Record information in patient administration systems and assist with administrative duties.
