Job summary

Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is inviting applications for a Dialysis Assistant in our Renal Team. You will help deliver high-quality care and provide essential support to patients undergoing haemodialysis.

We value a caring, patient-focused approach and teamwork. Full training will be provided, including our renal unit competency training book.

The unit operates six days a week with long shifts; flexibility to travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• A caring and patient-focused approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Previous dialysis experience is desirable, but not essential — full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Ordering and maintenance of stores on the unit; assist in the preparation, provision of care and supervision of haemodialysis patients.
• Supernumerary during training and completion of renal unit competency training book.
