Job summary

The Renal Unit at Hollinswood House is seeking a Dialysis Assistant to join a supportive team delivering haemodialysis care. You will be responsible for patient-centred support and helping with routine tasks under supervision.

The unit operates six days a week from 07:00 to 20:00; staff work 13-hour shifts and may travel between sites. Full training will be provided and compassionate care is at the heart of our service.

Qualifications

• Caring and patient-focused approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Dialysis experience is desirable, but not essential — full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Order and maintain stores on the unit and assist in the preparation, provision of care and supervision of haemodialysis patients.
• Supervise patients and work within your level of competence while undergoing renal unit competency training.
