Group 1 Automotive Manchester Volkswagen Van Centre is seeking a Diagnostic Technician (Mechanic). The role involves performing high-quality maintenance and repairs to Volkswagen vans, following manufacturer standards to ensure reliability and safety.

You will enjoy a salary of around £43,500 per year with uncapped OTE, plus a £2,500 welcome bonus for experienced technicians. We offer 33 days holiday, pension, discounts, flexible working options and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
Valid UK driving licence is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and team collaboration are essential.
Experience in diagnostic work and vehicle maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs following manufacturer standards.
Conduct thorough inspections to assess wear and determine replacements.
