Job summary

Stellantis &You in Romford is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our aftersales team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diagnostics and hold a valid NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology or an equivalent City & Guilds Level 3 qualification. Responsibilities include ensuring customer satisfaction through quality work, conducting vehicle health checks, diagnosing vehicle systems, and maintaining a safe work environment. The position includes a £1500 sign-on bonus and access to training opportunities, among other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Strong knowledge of Stellantis vehicle systems.
• Valid NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent City & Guilds Level 3 qualification.
• Passion for troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and a first-time fix to delight customers.
• Complete video vehicle health checks.
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress.
• Assist and coach colleagues with technical assistance.
• Maintain a clean and safe work bay.
• Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards.
• Diagnose complex vehicle systems and routine service.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician with a knack for diagnostics, a passion for continuous learning, and a drive to work on Stellantis brand products as a key member of our successful aftersales team. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology through IMI or a City & Guilds Level 3 qualification, at a minimum.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and a first‑time fix to delight our customers every time.
• Complete video vehicle health checks to highlight any issues and sell‑up opportunities.
• Communicate with workshop supervision regarding work progress.
• Assist and coach colleagues with technical assistance.
• Maintain a clean & safe work bay.
• Complete MOTs in line with DVSA standards (if required).
• Diagnose complex vehicle systems and routine service and repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diagnostic technician.
• Strong knowledge of Stellantis vehicle systems.
• Valid NVQ in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent City & Guilds Level 3 qualification.
• Passion for troubleshooting and diagnosing problems.
