Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a suitably qualified Diagnostic Radiographer to join our experienced imaging team in east London. You will rotate through ED, general x-ray, fluoroscopy and theatres, delivering high-quality patient care and supporting a 24/7, 365-day service.

Applicants must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or the Diploma of the College of Radiographers, and be registered with HCPC. The role requires participation in the department's shift pattern, including out-of-hours,

Qualifications

• BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or Diploma of the College of Radiographers.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Willing to participate in 24/7 AfC shift pattern including out-of-hours.
• Open to experienced Band 5 radiographers and newly qualified radiographers.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and develop radiographic skills within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
• Perform a wide range of x-ray examinations to a high standard.
• Rotate through ED, general x-ray, fluoroscopy, and theatres.
• Provide supervision to assistant practitioners, imaging assistants, students, and visitors.
• Ensure patient flow and same-day imaging for emergencies and in-patients.
