Job summary

The Alexandra Hospital (Circle Health Group) is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join the Imaging department on a bank (as and when required) basis. You will support patient care, work with a multidisciplinary team, and cover shifts during busy periods or staff absences.

This role requires prior imaging or healthcare assistant experience, Care Certificate, and willingness to pursue NVQ levels in healthcare.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
• Care Certificate.
• GCSE Maths and English (A–C) or equivalent.
• Willingness to progress NVQ 2/3 in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the imaging department delivering patient-centred care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to support patient flow and service quality.
• Adhere to NMC/HCPC standards and professional conduct.
• Demonstrate competence within Imaging Assistant scope of practice.
