Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Programme Team Leader to oversee a team of retinal screeners across the North West London programme, delivering high-quality diabetic eye screening and maintaining patient-centered care.

You will work with the Programme Manager, lead, mentor, plan rosters, ensure clinical standards, and support staff in achieving Level 3 Diploma for Health Screeners. This role emphasizes team development and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Diabetic Retinopathy Screening Diploma or Level 3 Diploma for Health Screeners.
• GCSEs in Maths and English.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
• High standard of grading in line with Internal Quality Assurance.

Responsabilités

• Lead, coach and support a team of screeners to deliver screening and grading services.
• Provide mentoring, training and constructive challenge to maintain high clinical standards.
• Support staff in achieving their Level 3 Diploma for Health Screeners.
• Assist with staff rota planning and ensure adequate clinic and grading cover.
• Monitor clinic environments to ensure compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with the Programme Manager to meet programme objectives.
• Oversee compliance processes and provide support where required.
• Promote a proactive, solution-focused approach to daily challenges.
• Maintain the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
