You will collaborate with consultants, specialist nurses and primary care colleagues to lead clinics, drive quality improvement and contribute to education and research across our community.
Working as an autonomous practitioner within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with consultants, specialist nurses, primary care colleagues and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based diabetes care. You will play a key role in shaping and developing services through quality improvement, audit, research and education, helping to improve outcomes for people living with diabetes across our local community. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic and experienced nurse with specialist diabetes knowledge, strong leadership and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient-centred care.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionateDiabetes Specialist Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and empowering people to manage their condition effectively.
Applications will be considered from NMC registered Nurses currently working within Diabetes who have relevant experience and are in the process of completing the Non medical prescribing course.
For candidates who have not yet completed this, the post will be offered as a developmental post at the appropriate Annex 21 salary in accordance with Agenda for Change terms and conditions.
