Job summary

Clearline Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Diabetes Nurse Educator to work field-based across the North of England, ideally near Manchester. You will deliver specialist education to healthcare professionals and patients, with a focus on CGM technology, and travel nationally as required.

The role is a 12-month contract with outside IR35, offering PAYE £185 per day or Umbrella/LTD £230 per day, with 25 days holiday and flexible field-based working.

Qualifications

• Strong diabetes background essential and candidates without diabetes experience cannot be considered.
• Current or previously Registered Nurse.
• Previous experience as a Diabetes Specialist Nurse (DSN) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of diabetes care and management.
• Experience delivering training to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Understanding of diabetes medication, monitoring and lifestyle interventions.
• Familiarity with NHS primary and secondary care.
• Excellent communication, presentation and patient education skills.
• Confident using technology and digital training platforms.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel regularly, including overnight stays and national travel when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diabetes education and training to healthcare professionals and patients.
• Provide one-to-one and group training in face-to-face and virtual settings.
• Train patients and caregivers on the use of CGM systems and associated applications.
• Support patients adopting new technology and build confidence in self-management.
• Provide technical and clinical guidance on CGM technology.
• Offer on-site and remote implementation support.
• Troubleshoot CGM-related queries and provide ongoing support.
• Build relationships with nurses, GPs, endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Work closely with healthcare teams to support patient adherence and outcomes.
• Support commercial teams with clinical expertise and insight.
• Maintain accurate training and customer records within CRM systems.
