Epsom and St Helier hospitals are seeking a Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant to join their department. The successful candidate will provide specialist care to patients and work within a multidisciplinary team, playing a key role in patient and healthcare professional interactions. The role offers broad exposure to general medicine, diabetes, and endocrinology, requiring the post holder to demonstrate safe equipment use and resource efficiency. The position will adhere to local policies and procedures, with the advertised job plan pending RCP approval.

Main duties of the job

This full-time Consultant position in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and General Medicine includes 1 PA for General Medicine on-call duties. A primary responsibility will be leading inpatient diabetes care, including daily reviews and collaboration with the Diabetes Inpatient Specialist nurses and Podiatry team.
