Job Description:

Our services have been appointed to recruit a Consultant Physician in General Medicine with a special interest in Diabetes and Endocrinology. This hospital is based in London and they're looking to recruit on a substantive basis.

The Trust requires the successful candidate to have the following:

  1. Training and experience equivalent to that required for UK CCT.
  2. GMC specialist registration in General (Internal) Medicine and Diabetes/Endocrinology (or eligibility to enter within 6 months from the time of the interview).
  3. MRCP.
  4. Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in General Medicine and Diabetes/Endocrinology.
  5. Ability to offer expert clinical opinions on all aspects within General Medicine and Diabetes/Endocrinology.
  6. Ability to take independent responsibility for delivering service without direct supervision.

This Trust's diabetes and endocrinology services are recognised for innovation and clinical excellence. The department hosts one of the largest insulin pump and technology services in the UK and one of six islet transplant services in England.
