Job summary

Scunthorpe General Hospital, a 14-bed medical ward with a diabetes and endocrinology focus, is seeking a Healthcare Support Worker to join the team on Ward 25. You'll work alongside the multidisciplinary team, assisting with daily living activities and diabetes care.

Close collaboration with diabetic specialist nurses keeps the focus on diabetes care. A Level 3 qualification and at least one year in a healthcare setting are essential.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification is essential.
• At least 1 year's experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in busy environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the multidisciplinary team to provide high quality diabetic care.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide any support they need.
