Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a Primary Care Key Account Manager for the Sheffield and Rotherham area. This field-based role combines account management, education and customer engagement across Primary Care to improve patient access to diabetes management solutions.

You will build relationships with GPs, Practice Nurses and other healthcare stakeholders, delivering evidence-based discussions on diabetes monitoring technologies while identifying opportunities to enhance patient access in line with local NHS

Qualifications

• Proven success in a Primary Care pharmaceutical sales role or medical device sales role within Primary Care.
• Strong understanding of the NHS, Primary Care environment and local healthcare systems.
• Experience building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of healthcare stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, influencing and account management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with key Primary Care stakeholders across your territory.
• Promote blood glucose monitoring technologies in a compliant, customer-focused manner.
• Deliver evidence-based educational discussions to healthcare professionals on diabetes management and monitoring solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient access to diabetes technologies in line with local healthcare priorities.
• Develop and implement strategic territory business plans to achieve commercial objectives.
• Manage key accounts effectively, tailoring engagement strategies to local customer needs.
• Conduct impactful face-to-face and virtual meetings, educational events and account reviews.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business objectives and local NHS priorities.
• Analyse local market dynamics and identify opportunities for growth and service improvement.
