Job summary
NTT DATA UK Ltd. is seeking a Security Development and Test Manager to lead secure software development and testing across multiple projects in a hybrid Birmingham environment.
You will drive secure coding practices, oversee security testing cycles, and coordinate with DevOps to embed security tools in CI/CD pipelines, reporting to the Director of Security Development and Testing. The role requires 5+ years in secure software development/DevSecOps, hands-on security tool experience, familiarity
Qualifications
- 5+ years leading secure software development, testing, or DevSecOps environments.
- Hands-on experience with security testing tools (Veracode, SonarQube, Burp Suite).
- Familiarity with secure coding practices, OWASP Top 10, and threat modelling.
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Security or DevSecOps certifications (e.g., CSSLP, CEH, GWEB) preferred.
- Eligible for UK SC clearance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee secure software development and testing services across projects.
- Embed security tools (SAST/DAST/SCA) into CI/CD pipelines with DevSecOps practices.
- Lead security testing lifecycles and threat modelling at project level.
- Coordinate with engineering, DevOps and senior stakeholders on security issues.
- Monitor testing coverage and remediation timelines.
