Job summary

Netcompany is hiring for an APS team member to implement and support improvements, focusing on DevOps, automation, and faster delivery. You will work across development, DevOps, and support, participating in on‑call rotations and learning the platforms we support in the UK.

You will engage in a mix of development and on‑call duties in a multidisciplinary team, contributing to best practices and ensuring reliable services.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a similar DevOps/APS or on‑call role.
• Curiosity to explore new technologies.
• Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation/maintenance.
• Experience using Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Java and various databases/architectures.
• Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance.
• Kubernetes & Helm for orchestration and package management.
• Experience with AWS Cloud.
• CI/CD: pipelines, Jenkins.
• Database change management (Liquibase).
• GitOps principles understood.
• Automation mindset: monitoring, continuous improvement, best practices.

Responsibilities

• Experience of DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation.
• Communication: translate business requirements to technical implementation.
• Facilitate information/business knowledge as a domain SME.
• Stakeholder management to ensure effective service delivery.
