Nearform is a data & AI solution partner seeking an experienced Senior DevOps/Cloud Engineer to shape cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines. You will design scalable, secure architectures on AWS, implement IaC, and manage Kubernetes deployments while supporting clients and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with development teams, contribute to reliable CD pipelines, and ensure timely delivery; travel onsite 4 days per week as required. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualificações

• Financial services industry experience, trading or market-data systems.
• Strong Linux and Bash/Python scripting
• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level with ≥6 years of experience.
• Practical experience delivering real-world solutions in agile environments.
• IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Containerization and orchestration with Kubernetes (K8s).
• CI/CD pipelines experience, ideally GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Python scripting and automation expertise.
• Observability and monitoring frameworks for performance optimization.
• Security best practices across cloud infra, CI/CD, and microservices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; English proficiency.
• Willingness to travel onsite 4 days per week (travel expensed).

• Developing and managing cloud-based infrastructure on AWS.

• Optimizing system performance and scalability through observability.
• Collaborating with development teams to streamline deployment workflows.
• Advising clients on cloud infrastructure, deployment automation, and security.
• Engaging with stakeholders to support project execution and timely delivery.
• Assisting with client requirements analysis and technical discussions.
• Working with Technical Leaders and client teams on delivery.

• Financial services industry experience, trading or market-data systems

• Significant experience delivering at a Senior Engineer level. Our Seniors typically have at least 6 years' commercial experience.
• Practical experience and knowledge of developing real-world solutions.
• Practical experience of delivering in an agile environment.
• Strong experience managing and automating cloud-based infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools, ideally Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Scripting and automation expertise, preferably with Python.
• Experience with observability tools and monitoring frameworks for system performance optimization.
• Solid understanding of security best practices across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Available to travel onsite 4 days per week, travel can be expensed
