Job summary

Mastek Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a major government digital transformation programme. You will enable rapid delivery by removing blockers, implementing automation and cloud tooling in a collaborative, Agile environment.

You will work across Development and Operations, applying DevOps practices to ensure reliable, scalable services and continuous improvement. Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps delivery experience on digital or technology projects.
• AWS experience across EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, with security best practices.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform and VM tools (e.g. Vagrant).
• Automation experience with configuration management in a 24x7 AWS environment.
• Strong scripting and automation skills across Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps delivery across government digital projects.
• Apply agile/lean tools and remove blockers to enable delivery.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for reliability.
• Collaborate withDevelopment and Operations teams to improve processes.
