Job summary

IMG’s technology team is seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and operate scalable, secure infra and delivery pipelines across our digital and broadcast platforms. The role emphasizes continuous delivery, reliability, and supporting live event services.

You will build cloud infrastructure, automate provisioning with IaC, monitor systems, and collaborate with development, QA, and operations to optimize performance and cost.

Qualifications

• Experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
• Strong Linux and cloud platforms knowledge.
• Hands-on with IaC and CI/CD tooling.
• Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools.
• Ability to work in high-availability or live production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines across teams.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability with observability tools.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place and tested.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline deployments.
• Act as escalation point for production incidents and rapid troubleshooting.
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and applications.
• Optimise system performance and cost-efficiency across cloud environments.
• Document infrastructure, processes, and operational procedures clearly.
• Continuously identify opportunities for automation and improvements.
• Support live and critical event operations where uptime matters.
• Communicate issues, risks, and improvements to stakeholders.
