Job summary

HCLTech in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale transformation programme. You will work with client teams and stakeholders to support the build, deployment, and migration of critical applications.

The role focuses on designing, implementing, and assuring DevOps pipelines, automation frameworks, and operational tooling that enable secure, scalable software delivery across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong scripting (Python/PowerShell/Bash) for automation.
• Cloud exposure across AWS/Azure/GCP and container tech (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid Git/version control and monitoring/security best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development and deployment.
• Implement DevOps best practices, automation, and IaC.
• Support migration and deployment activities across environments.
• Collaborate with client teams, architects, developers, and operations.
• Develop and maintain deployment, monitoring, and operational tooling.
• Improve release processes, deployment automation, and environment management.
• Ensure platform reliability, security, performance, and resilience.
• Troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure issues with timely resolutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the DevOps lifecycle.
