Job summary

Ensera Design in Bristol is seeking a proactive DevOps Engineer to own development infrastructure, tooling, environments, and automation across the software engineering lifecycle.

You will work with software, embedded, electronics, and wider teams to enhance CI/CD, workflows, and deployment practices while maintaining secure, scalable platforms. Occasional travel to other locations and occasional after-hours work may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting abilities.
• Ability to automate development processes and workflows.
• Familiarity with version control systems and workflows.
• Experience integrating development tooling with engineering teams.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for software teams.
• Own core development platforms, tooling, access, and configurations.
• Standardise and automate development environments for reliability and repeatability.
• Support the SDLC from requirements to deployment with enhanced workflows.
• Ensure security, patching, and audit readiness of development systems.
• Collaborate with software and hardware teams to optimize tooling and processes.
