Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services UK is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and container platforms across enterprise apps. The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, and continuous delivery within a hybrid work model.

You will work on monitoring, Linux administration, and security best practices while collaborating with development, platform, and operations teams to improve system performance.

Qualifications

• Extensive DevOps/Platform Engineering experience.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tooling and automation.
• Proficient in Ansible automation.
• Experience managing ELK Stack environments.
• Strong Prometheus monitoring knowledge.
• Docker and Podman container experience.
• Bash, Shell or Python scripting expertise.
• Git-based version control experience.
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, LBs).
• Incident management and RCA capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows.
• Manage container platforms (Docker/Podman) and Linux environments.
• Implement monitoring using Prometheus and related tools.
• Administer Linux servers for stability and security.
• Troubleshoot production issues across apps and infra.
• Support networking topics including load balancers and TLS.
• Contribute to security, compliance and operational best practices.
