Job summary

DevOps Engineer in Reading (Hybrid, Permanent) to own the delivery infrastructure behind a mission-critical software platform. You will build, test and deploy with highly automated, reliable pipelines and work closely with software engineers, platform specialists and test teams to drive continuous improvement across CI/CD and deployment processes.

Responsibilities include designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, implementing infrastructure as code with Ansible and Terraform, managing Docker

Qualifications

• Experience delivering production-grade delivery pipelines.
• Strong Linux administration and scripting skills.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience with containerized deployments using Docker.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and improve deployment automation with IaC.
• Create and manage development, integration and pre-prod environments.
• Automate environment provisioning for consistency.
• Monitor, health checks and reporting across environments.
• Document tooling to enable autonomous deployments.
