Job summary

Air Apps is seeking a DevOps Engineer Backend to design, automate, and maintain the infrastructure powering our backend systems. You will work closely with developers to deliver reliable, scalable services in a fast-paced, in-person environment.

Based in Lisbon, this onsite role offers relocation support and opportunities to work with cutting-edge cloud and container technologies across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
• Strong CI/CD tooling experience.
• Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless.
• IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Deploy and manage containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and improve reliability.
• Enforce security best practices, including identity management.
• Collaborate with dev teams to improve deployment efficiency.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-effectiveness.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and config management.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps technologies.
