Job summary

NXA Talent LTD is seeking a GCP DevOps Consultant to design, automate, and optimise cloud-native platforms in a highly regulated environment. The role focuses on IaC, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes-based deployments across Google Cloud, with a strong emphasis on security, reliability, and scalability.

You will work on designing scalable cloud-native platforms, maintaining pipelines, and collaborating across engineering and operations to improve platform reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), GKE, and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in Docker, Helm Charts, and containerised deployments.
• Proven experience with Terraform, Ansible, Python, Bash/Shell scripting, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD, Groovy pipelines, Git, and branching strategies.
• Experience implementing DevSecOps tooling including SonarQube, Checkmarx, and container security scanning.
• Solid Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools including Datadog, Grafana, and AppDynamics.
• Knowledge of networking, firewalls, and enterprise DevOps operating models.
• Experience supporting applications across hybrid and public cloud environments.

Sheffield based (2 days per week onsite)

6 Month contract

£475 per day (inside IR35)

We're currently supporting an organisation based Sheffield who require an experienced DevOps Consultant. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in designing, automating, and optimising cloud-native platforms within a highly regulated enterprise environment. Responsible for driving DevOps best practices, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and Kubernetes-based deployments across Google Cloud, helping to deliver secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.

Role Responsibilities
