Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a DevOps Apprentice to bridge software development and IT operations, automating processes and enabling reliable software delivery for millions of customers.

You will work alongside experienced engineers across development and operations in a fast-paced environment, learning to automate, test, and improve how software is delivered. The 24‑month programme starts in September and includes classroom and on‑the‑job training at a Thames Valley site, with mentoring

Qualificações

• Must be 18+ before start date and eligible to work in England for the full programme.
• UK-born or eligible to work and reside in England for the duration of the apprenticeship.
• Have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years preceding start date.
• Be prepared to travel for external/mandatory training.
• GCSEs with Maths and English at grade 4-9 (A-C) or above; STEM qualification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe software deployment.
• Script and code in multiple languages to orchestrate infrastructure and testing.
• Apply security best practices across the software development lifecycle.
• Monitor and optimise system performance; contribute to continuous improvement.
