Peaple Talent Ltd. is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a fast-growing, high-tech software business in Bristol.

You will focus on maintaining and optimising cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, working with senior engineers to improve reliability, automation, and security. You will build scalable, secure systems, implement IaC and automation best practices, and collaborate across engineering teams to streamline deployments and incidents.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
• Experience with major cloud platforms (ideally AWS).
• Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Solid experience configuring and managing CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Good knowledge of Linux administration, networking fundamentals, and core security practices.
• Experience with containerisation (Docker) and understanding of orchestration (Kubernetes).

Responsabilités

• Build, maintain, and support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
• Develop, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
• Implement best practices across IaC, automation, and system monitoring.
• Collaborate with wider engineering teams to troubleshoot deployment processes and improve reliability.
• Monitor performance, availability, and security; participate in incident response and resolution.
