Qualifications

• 1–3 years' experience in transport planning within development planning or consultancy.
• A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and the planning application process.
• Strong analytical, report-writing and communication skills.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
• Assess transport implications of residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
• Undertake accessibility reviews and analyse traffic and transport data.
• Support trip generation, junction capacity assessments and traffic impact analysis.
• Prepare technical reports and supporting documents for planning applications.
• Liaise with clients, developers, consultants and local authorities.
• Support sustainable transport, active travel and development planning strategies.
