NPD Technologist - 12-Month Maternity Cover

Location: Park Royal
Salary: £43,000
Hours: Monday-Friday

An exciting opportunity to join a vibrant and fast-growing food manufacturer on a 12-month maternity cover contract. Supplying major UK retailers with both branded and own-label products, the business is known for innovation and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage or support NPD projects from concept through to launch, ensuring all samples, trials, and product specifications meet customer and company standards.
2. Lead factory trials with cross-functional support to ensure feasibility, quality, and technical compliance.
3. Understand manufacturing and packaging capabilities to assess and manage potential risks in product development.
4. Coordinate with stakeholders across technical, production, and commercial teams.

What We're Looking For:

1. Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent organisational skills.
2. Confident communicator with strong IT skills, particularly Excel.
3. Prior experience in a Technical or NPD role within food manufacturing is preferred.
4. Able to learn quickly, work independently, and collaborate effectively within a team.
5. Strong attention to detail and a 'right first time' mindset.
