Job summary

Southern Housing is seeking a Development Strategy Manager to lead strategic projects and transformation initiatives within the new Development Strategy and Information Management team. You will oversee planning, governance and delivery to support safe, compliant homes for customers and colleagues.

The role requires coordinating complex programmes with strong planning and stakeholder engagement, and delivering organisational change across multiple teams in a hybrid working setup.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating complex projects from initiation through to delivery.
• Strong planning, coordination and monitoring capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong risk management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, delivery and governance of strategic projects and programmes from initiation through to implementation.
• Develop project plans, business cases and delivery frameworks with clear objectives, milestones and governance.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and effective decision-making.
• Monitor project performance, risks, budgets and dependencies; provide reporting and solutions to keep projects on track.
• Support successful delivery of organisational change by embedding new processes, systems and ways of working.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver organisational priorities and promote best practice project management.
