Job summary

Goodman Masson is supporting a leading housing provider in appointing a Development Programme Manager to join the Development team. The role focuses on monitoring the development programme, funding compliance, cash flow and grant reporting, while coordinating with Homes England and other partners.

You will oversee reporting to senior management, manage forecasting cycles, and ensure compliance with funding agreements. A strong background in social housing development and funding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing or housing development preferred.
• Strong understanding of development funding, grants and reporting.
• Ability to manage data and reporting for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead production of development monitoring reports for senior leaders and committees.
• Monitor programme performance, identify risks and provide recommendations.
• Act as main contact for Homes England and other funding bodies for reporting and contractual requirements.
• Manage grant forecasts, claims and drawdowns within budgets and cash flow.
• Produce monthly development cash flow and coordinate with Finance for forecasting.
• Review development appraisals and verify grant assumptions and outputs.
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements and highlight discrepancies.
• Coordinate annual development audits and mock audits ahead of external review.
