Job summary

Coastline Housing Ltd in Redruth is seeking a Development Officer to join our Development and Sales team. You will support Development Managers, project manage schemes and affordable housing projects across Coastline’s portfolio.

Your responsibilities include preparing scheme files, recording findings, attending site meetings, and coordinating with stakeholders to drive on-site delivery from start to completion, ensuring timely defect resolution and compliant agreements.

Qualifications

• Able to demonstrate knowledge of development processes for residential properties.
• Professional qualification in housing/construction/law/property.
• Full driving licence and satisfactory DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain scheme files and accurate records.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Project manage day-to-day delivery of development schemes from start on site to defect resolution.

Summary

An opportunity has arisen within our Development and Sales team, so we are seeking an enthusiastic and capable individual to join us as a Development Officer.

In this role, you will support our Development Managers and the wider team, project managing a programme of schemes and a range of affordable housing projects in Coastline’s current portfolio.

Responsibilities include preparing and maintaining scheme files, accurate record keeping, attending site meetings, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. You will project manage the day-to-day delivery of development schemes from start on site to defect resolution and coordinate the legal agreements.

You will be a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for attention and detail, and be able to communicate with stakeholders at all levels, while navigating tight deadlines, prioritising workloads and managing your own time effectively. You will have a good knowledge of development processes for residential properties, be able to assist in the submission of HCA bid information onto IMS, plus have a professional qualification in housing/construction/law/property. This role also requires a full driving licence and satisfactory basic DBS check.
