Job summary

Berrys in the Kettering office is seeking a Principal Planning Consultant/Development Lead to drive growth across planning, architecture and building surveying services. You will be the internal figurehead for the site, manage client relationships, and deliver planning consultancy across multiple sectors.

With a track record of growing teams and building brand awareness, you will shape strategy, lead projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to the profitability and expansion

• Proven track record of growing teams and networks.
• Experience establishing brand awareness in planning and development.
• Strong leadership with strategic planning and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be the internal figurehead of our planning and development offer within the Kettering office.
• Deliver planning consultancy work across multiple sectors and services, including general and strategic planning advice.
• Coordinate planning applications and provide expert client advice, handling post-planning negotiations and appeals.
• Oversee post-planning activities such as technical design, procurement and construction-phase services.
• Demonstrate strong project management to deliver on time, manage client risks and budgets.
• Support and develop other team members and grow knowledge of planning and wider development offers.
