Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is recruiting a Development Growth Manager in Cardiff. You will lead development plan consultations, engage Local Authorities, developers, and customers, and steer responses to regulatory guidance affecting growth and environment protection.

Your role requires coordinating across the Wastewater and Water Assets teams, ensuring timelines are met, and guiding data-driven planning with external stakeholders to protect the company’s service to customers.

Formación

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Town and Country Planning, Geography or environmental disciplines.
• Extensive experience in water industry and planning.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience managing stakeholders and navigating regulatory deadlines.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Direct activity for development plan consultations and early stakeholder engagement.
• Influence investment decisions to align with development plans and LPAs.
• Lead responses to regulatory guidance impacting development and growth.
• Manage data and inform Local Authorities on asset management plans.
• Engage external stakeholders (LPA, government, regulators) proactively.
• Coordinate with senior officers across 30 LPAs and ensure adherence to advice.
• Oversee feasibility studies, hydraulic models and water cycle studies inputs.
• Provide support for customer complaints and mentor team members.
• Ensure health and safety compliance during activities.
• Contribute to monthly reporting and reviews.
• Ensure processes are followed and activities meet business needs.
• Collaborate with other teams to carry out duties as required.
