Cedar in North London is seeking a Director of Development Finance to lead high-profile origination and credit activities. You will develop relationships with developers, brokers and property professionals to generate opportunities and structure facilities.

The role requires a proven track record in development finance, strong communication, and the ability to oversee underwriting, drawdowns and a small team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong track record originating development finance opportunities.
• Experience presenting credit papers to committees.
• Ability to manage underwriting and credit processes.
• Experience leading small teams and coordinating with brokers and developers.

Responsibilities

• Generate new development finance opportunities by relationships with developers, brokers/intermediaries and property professionals
• Originate and structure development finance opportunities
• Manage the underwriting and credit process for new transactions
• Oversee drawdowns and redemptions to ensure portfolio performance
• Build and/or manage a small team to support origination targets and portfolio management
