Job summary

Bosch invites engineering students to join a 12-month internship in Coventry, focusing on independent product development, CAD modeling, and prototype support. Job Description

You will be supporting the following activities:

• Independent development of products and collaboration in project teams.
• Creation of 3D solid models and 2D drawings as well as parts lists.
• Creation of concept proposals & project documentation.
• Development of design solutions taking into account functional, material, manufacturing and economic aspects.
• Collaboration in prototype validation and support through to series production.
• Adherence to time schedules and development cost specifications.
• Realisation of the customer's product requirements.
• Program knowledge MS-Office and 2D / 3D CAD.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and preferably familiarity with PDM systems.
• Complete internal documents to ensure compliance with BOSCH standards.
• Working with customers on various projects and communicate progress to them periodically.
• Ensuring compliance with customer schedules and cost expectations.

Qualifications

• Program knowledge MS-Office and 2D / 3D CAD.
• Proficiency in Solidworks and preferably familiarity with PDM systems.
• Studying an engineering degree.

Additional Information

This is a 12-month internship beginning in June 2027. This position is open to undergraduate students who are eligible to partake in a work placement as part of their university course.

Location: you will be based at the Coventry office.

As an Intern at Bosch, you will participate in an exclusive learning and development programme called the BUILD Programme designed to support you through your internship journey. It includes a mixture of in-person and virtual sessions on topics including Effective Communication and Leading MyMe provided by expert external trainers.
