Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions in Staffordshire is seeking a Development Engineer to join our Development Capability team. You will work to develop diverse aspects of electronic, electrical and electromechanical systems in an evaluation, pre-production and validation environment.

Reporting to the Development Lead Engineer, you will collaborate with project teams, perform system testing, design capture and documentation, and may travel for on-site commissioning or trials.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND/BTEC or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• A Level Grades A–C or equivalent.
• GCSE Grades A–C/9–4 Maths and English or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking systems development testing and engineering related tasks in support of projects.
• Design and development of system test suites.
• Conducting development and qualification testing.
• Schematic and design capture.
• Component selection, advice and review.
• Occasional attendance and support of on-site commissioning or trials activities (may require overseas travel).
