Job summary

ESCO Maritime Solutions based in Rugeley, Staffordshire is seeking a technically skilled engineer to support the Test Department. You will carry out fault finding and system tests on MOD and commercial electronic products within the Test Department.

The role involves devising test fixtures and procedures, working with Engineering to resolve issues, and producing test documentation while adhering to ESCO values. Some travel to UK locations and abroad may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety legislation and policies are followed in the workplace.
• Test electrical and electronic assemblies to MOD and commercial standards.
• Devise test fixtures, rigs and procedures with Engineering.
• Collaborate with Operations/Engineering to resolve issues.
• Demonstrate equipment performance to customers and reps.
• Produce documentary evidence of test routines.
• Comply with statutory/company rules and procedures.
• Liaise on design changes or rectification with Engineering.
• Operate equipment safely and effectively.
• Demonstrate ESCO values at all times.
• Carry out other reasonable tasks related to the role.
