Job summary

Alstom in the United Kingdom seeks a Development Continuous Improvement Manager to lead lean development initiatives and drive site transformation toward a lean organisation. You will deploy the Dev CI roadmap, govern transformation and sustain Lean Dev across Development teams, serving as the Alstom Performance System leader.

We value strong experience in Lean Development and transformation, with a Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt and governance across Dev interfaces.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Lean Development, continuous improvement, and transformation environments.
  • Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt and applying structured improvement methodologies to complex Dev challenges.
  • Solid understanding of Dev and Quality interfaces and governance in a complex industrial environment.
  • Willingness to travel to visit other Alstom sites, suppliers and customers when required.

Responsibilities

  • Define, deploy, and animate the local Dev continuous improvement roadmap at site level.
  • Define and animate the local transformation governance in alignment with site and global objectives.
  • Animate and sustain the local Lean Dev setup across Development teams. Serve as the Transformation and Alstom Performance System Leader
  • Drive local and global continuous improvement projects, including Black Belt and Value Stream Mapping (VSM) initiatives.
  • Contribute to Rolling Stock Lean Transformation activities, supporting transversalisation, standardisation, and best-practice sharing across sites and functions.

Your future role

As a Development Continuous Improvement Manager , you will lead continuous improvement initiatives at a development (Dev) level, and drive site transformation towards a lean development organisation.

We’ll look to you for:
