Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Development Chef in Warrington to create eye-catching concepts for major retail customers. You will work with the Product Development team to shape meals across the range, support kitchen trials, and contribute to scale-up and launches.

You will travel regularly between sites and to Tesco head office in London, bringing strong culinary creativity and project ownership to a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Seasoned chef with industry-recognised qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in hospitality or food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative food concepts and recipes in line with customer briefs and market trends.
• Support the NPD process from concept to launch, ensuring high culinary and quality standards.
• Work with Technical, Process and Commercial teams.
• Attend customer presentations and showcase new ideas.
• Provide culinary support during factory trials and scale-up.
• Stay updated on market and food trends.
