Job summary

Leigh Day is seeking a technically adept professional to enhance legal practice workflows, data collection, and documents. You will work closely with the PMO and development teams to test, document, and roll out upgrades, while ensuring UAT and user guides are prepared for end users.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into architecture designs within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of legal practice management systems (e.g., Linetime Liberate, Sharedo).
  • Hubspot or legal CRM systems experience.
  • Power BI development experience beneficial.
  • Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Translate business requirements into architecture designs.

Responsibilities

  • Enhance workflows, documents and data collection screens via a cycle of requirements gathering, configuration, testing, user training and rollout.
  • Ensure that prior to implementation all system changes are tested.
  • Liaise with the development team to ensure the system delivers required functionality.
  • Test and implement vendor-led upgrades and patches.
  • Arrange UAT prior to updates and manage issues to resolution.
  • Create and prepare notes, user guides and manuals for end users.
  • Test updates to ensure smooth move between development and live systems.
  • Keep all parties informed of upgrades and their roles.
  • Monitor bug reports post-upgrade and highlight major issues early.
  • Collaborate with the development team to create solutions for internal clients.

Release

  • Arrange user acceptance testing (UAT) prior to any significant updates and manage any issues that are discovered through to resolution.
  • Work with the PMO with to create and prepare notes, user guides and manuals for end users.
  • Test updates to ensure the move between development and live systems is successful, highlighting any areas of concern.
  • Assist in ensuring all parties are kept informed of upgrades and understand their respective role.
  • Following the upgrade, monitor bug reports and highlight any major issues at the earliest opportunity.
  • Work with development team to create solutions for internal clients and stakeholders.
