Job summary

Thames Valley Police invites substantive Detective Sergeants to join the Counter Terrorism Policing South East Investigations team, supervising complex inquiries and managing risk to protect communities.

You will lead investigators, ensure ethical practice and adherence to national standards, and may travel across the South East and beyond. DV vetting and PIP Level 2 accreditation are required.

Qualifications

• PIP Level 2 accreditation or working towards
• British National and have resided in the UK for the past ten years
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel across the South East and the UK
• Experience in supervising serious investigations

Responsibilities

• Supervise delivery of complex and sensitive investigations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to investigators.
• Ensure enquiries are conducted ethically and to national standards.
• Support on-call arrangements across the region and beyond
