Job summary

Vercel is seeking a Security Engineer to join our Detection Response team in London. You will manage CorpSec posture, monitor security anomalies, and build detections and visibility for internal systems.

For UK-based candidates, hybrid work with in-office anchor days is available; fully remote options exist for others. You will collaborate with Engineering, GRC, and Security to support audits and improve security operations.

Qualifications

• Extensive security operations experience with SIEM and detections.
• AWS cloud security best practices knowledge.
• Proven incident response and remediation experience.
• Experience auditing and governing security programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts across multiple channels and manage escalations.
• Maintain logging and SIEM infrastructure for visibility.
• Support PCI, SOC2, ISO audits with evidence collection.
• Develop and deploy new detections and security tooling.
• Handle security investigations, incidents and on-call processes.
• Guard the business against risk-based changes.
