Job summary

Aplaro Ltd in London is seeking a Cybersecurity Detection and Response Analyst to join our team and protect the firm’s employees and infrastructure. This role blends incident response, detection engineering, and SOC automation, building the tools we rely on daily.

You’ll monitor, hunt for threats, write detections, and tune systems while communicating security tradeoffs to colleagues and helping raise security awareness across the firm.

Qualifications

• Have (or will have) a degree in computer science, engineering, information systems or a related field.
• A strong programmer with aptitude for learning and a passion for cybersecurity.
• Comfortable with version control and common editors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tune detection capabilities and SOC tooling.
• Perform unstructured investigations to locate and repair security issues.
• Share knowledge and best practices across the team and organization.
