South Yorkshire Police is seeking dedicated Force Crime Bureau Operators to join the Force Control Room in Sheffield. You will ensure accurate crime recording, support investigations, and uphold high standards of service, working a four-days-on/four-days-off shift pattern.

The role requires attention to detail, strong customer service, and proficiency with Windows-based systems to process reports accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Flexible, able to work 24-hour shift system and weekends.
• Proven ability in the use of Windows-based computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and input crime reports from the public, officers, and others on computerised systems.
• Advise on crime recording in line with Home Office Counting Rules; classify and record data.
